Yes. The link I sent you a short while ago will have this CAFD. This first appeared in 47.1, so your PSdZData is probably 46.4 or earlier.

I want to thank April1 for his guidance through the coding process. I purchased the cable and software from him a couple of weeks ago to code our F10 and it worked like a champ. We just picked up our new F25 this week from the Factory in Spartanburg (Performance Delivery is the way to go!). I tried to code it yesterday using my memory from coding the F10 the week prior, but everything was erroring out. I contacted April1 and he walked me through a couple of issues. Bottom line is that I went back to the beginning and followed his instructions to the letter and all codes were accepted and it is working great! I was even able to change the setting on the Auto Start/Stop feature to "last setting" so no trip to the dealer for me. If you don't have cable or software then contact April1, he has a great package and it was the best $75 I have spent on the cars!

My efforts have been to provide systematic help to beginners who want to have very limited risk during initial coding and who want to have a proud feeling of saying "I did it. " I too feel happy when I get sweet words from them like "thank you" |

I know that the SW is available for free and I could have built a cable but I consider the $75 I spent for Cable, SW (including 32GB thumb drive) and great tech support a better deal plus he got it to me (CA to FL) in two days!

Restoring the save .NCD files isn't copy and paste, but you could restore them; however, I don't think I would. When the dealer programs you car, many of the ECU's will have the firmware updated, which means it will use a different CAFD now, and your .ncd backup based on the old CAFD won't match. After dealer programming, I would once again, read all ECU's, and backup all the uncoded .ncd files, and then FDL code everything from scratch, and then back up the coded .ncd files.

Send April1 a PM for cable or full coding kit.

The one thing though I would be concerned about is BMW Apps. When BMW Apps first came out, it did not require an FSC Code (Enabling Code), then BMW Changed it to where it does, I think with version 4.2. So, if your BMW Apps is now working without and FSC Code because you have old firmware on your HU_CIC, if the dealer programs your car, when they flash the latest 47.5 firmware on your HU_CIC, you will suddenly need an FSC code, and that will run you a few hundred dollars. If Bimmer Tech though originally added an FSC Code and imported and activated it, then you should be alright. You need to ask Patryk about that. You can also check and see if you have an active 6NR FSC code using E-Sys.

1. Can someone post the location and values for removing the seatbelt gong?
2. I got the BMW live menu to appear but it says that I need to enable Bluetooth data transfer which I thought I did. Anyone know how to enable Bluetooth data transfer? 3. I saw a couple of references to a2dp and enabled it but its not showing up in Bluetooth settings... Any ideas? Maybe I missed a couple of values? |
