Idiots Guide to very quick car wash please?
Can anyone give me an "idiots guide" to a very quick and easy car wash please? So that I can maintain my new CB X3 to look half nice?
Was thinking of monthly car valet, but am worried about the paintwork getting damaged now... I need any products to be "available in the UK". Thanks QT |

Very quick and easy car wash:
Get yourself a Mr. Clean AutoDry system. This is an attachment that goes on your hose. It has 3 settings. 1) regular spray - use to rinse car before and after soap 2) soap - sprays on soap (you then have to sponge it) 3) de-ionized spary - essentially use this last step to rinse off the hard water off your car - allows you to just airdry and you don't have to dry your car by hand - leaves no water marks. This system actually saves a lot of time. The major problem - Unfortunately, Mr. Clean no longer makes this. So, you have to get it on ebay. I already had the system, but had to get supplies of filters and soap on ebay - got enough to last me a couple of years. |

Once you have Zaino done on your car, you just need to use a soft cloth to get it shining every morning just in two minutes dusting. You may need a wash once a month.

If you live in the UK - you are in the fortunate position to have relatively easy access to Dodo Juice - http://www.dodojuice.com/dodo-juice-detailing.html
They have excellent products and accessories and also an excellent detailing forum: http://dodojuice.com/juicebar//viewt...t=259&start=15 You may need to go the high pressure washer and foam lance way. Hope this helps! |

I just wash mine weekly. Cover with pressure washer car soap, rinse off with the pressure washer. Hand wash with wash and wax, blast off again with pressure washer and wipe down with chamois. Takes me about an half hour.
Then every six month just wax it with Mer (Real good stuff). Ours is Black Sapphire and it still looks like new. |
