There have been a few delivered outside of the more normal time lines. I know of one custom order completed towards the end of Nov and delivered a week before mine (15 Feb).

I still think 14 weeks is wildly optimistic - sorry!

I think its closer to 14 months than 14 weeks

Ask for a screen dump of their order system showing the production week and current event code

I would advise anyone whose car won't go into production until April and who has ordered the professional multimedia package to try to add 6NR for mobile applications to your order as it seems that you won't be able to retrofit it. It has huge potential. You need an iPhone 3GS or later.

I have just picked up a MINI JCW that has the MINI connected on and although at the moment it is a bit limited, the Google search fuctionality is very good and as you say there is a lot of future potential there. I will certainly be speccing it on the X3.

I finally got my build date from Lex Autolease. Mar 21st! This was for an order confirmation of 30th Nov, 2010!

If this is to be believed, my 9th May delivery date sounds right......

I would recommend that you add 6NR too, especially if you have or intend to get an iPhone. And even if you don't add it for resale value

You shouldn't have probs...mine's due more or less same time and was informed by dealer still have about 2weeks to make changes apart from Engine or body spec i.e SE vs M Sport

Strange that people get told this because I changed my order 3 times with the last change being only 3 weeks before it entered production.

I don't understand how I could do this without affecting the build week and other people are stopped from making any changes?

My dealer just sent me a screen shot from BMW. I ordered 1 Mar and est delivery is early Oct or about 31 weeks! The spec/colour is not corrected from my last amendment and names have been removed.
