MY22 X3 M40i- Fuel-it Flex fuel installed

Just installed Fuel-it bluetooth flex fuel kit for G01 MY22 X3 M40i. I currently have a JB4 and installed the white wire into pin 4 on the JB4 DB25 slot as per the website and enabled bit 2 on the WMI page.

I downloaded the instructions from the website under F/G kit for x3/x4, the PDF file is named Supra_Z4FF_install and it has conflicting instructions saying to connect to slot 14 on the JB4 DB25 connector and If connected to the JB4, open the app, go to WMI settings and set your signal scaling to 100. Also enable the JB4 14/15/16 Flex Fuel Input to display the ethanol content in the JB4 app and logs. Which one is correct for my install?

I am running 93 octane (7 gallons approx) and E85 (5 gallons approx) for a E30 mix using a calculator for a 17 gallon fuel tank. But the JB4 shows a reading E7 to E8.

Did I miss something on the install?

Do I need to use the Bluetooth module since I am using a JB4,? Can I plug harness directly into the E content sensor?
I downloaded fuel it app but it shows it cannot connect to sensor, is this because I am using a JB4 to read the value?

Does the sensor read in both directions or does it need to be orientated one way? I know it just reads E content and not flow.

I have included screen shots and some install pics to look over.

Thanks

Your problem is that you're missing a German canine installation partner

bt module is wired in the loop by plug ..so fuel it app works via BT and the jb4 has a reading by installing a white wire into DB25 connector into pin 4. JB4 reads its lower by 1 for some reason sometimes.

For those looking to add this kit to their x3/x4 and run a JB4. here is their main install page.

https://www.jb4tuned.com/fuelit_eth_pi_wiring.htm

and for those who want to see my map 5 log. https://www.jb4tech.com/forum/model-...ng-correct-e85

Currently working with them to get a map 6 going...

How's the Fuel-It kit working for you? I ordered it for my 22 X3 M40i. So you put the red wire to the postive terminal under the hood? Where did you put the ground wire? How was installation? Thanks man

Yup its working great, I extended the power wire to reach to the other side passenger side where the positive jump terminal is. The ground wire is using a stock grounding point underneath the plastic close towards the drivers headlight.

The hardest part of the install is installing the sensor to the stock fuel line towards the back of the engine. Getting 2 open end wrenches and having room to lock the twist lock can get frustrating, if you happen to drop a wrench you need to remove a few screws for the plastic undertray and use a magnet pen to get them back, Ask me how I know...
