The stepped lip also makes them look a little smaller. Doesn't bother me, they look plenty big in person and I like 'em. Plus they're lighter than stock (as are the PS4S tires, besides being quieter, smoother, cheaper, and grippier than the RFT's).

CHATMAN wroteWe're about 3 hours inland, but I live on a lake... everyone is concerned about flooding all the way to Asheville, which is 3 hours west of us. We are about 12 ft above the full pond and (hopefully) out of the flood plane.... the bigger concern is wind. All generators, flashlights have been sold out and all the gas stations have limited fuel... Fortunately, Both our daily vehicles are topped off and ready if we need to get to higher ground..gixxerboy63 Will you and family stick around for Florence, or head inland?

CHATMAN wroteThere have been a few downed trees, power lines near and a few roads have ben closed due to flash flooding, but nothing major near us. We were a little worried about high winds and the possibility of a tornado, but that expired around midnight last night. Our lake is up, but not by a significant amount. There is some lingering concerns about excess water upstream.Update?
It is beautiful outside today.
I think we're going to be fine.

I have family and friends just west of Charlotte, they seem to be doing just fine too, thankfully.

Any recommendation of a tire size? Thinking about 255/50/19. Not sure if 255 would work with 9.5 width

These are 303M wheels on 15mm hub adaptors. Front 20x8.5 offset +25, rear 20x10 offset +41. The rears are "exactly" flush vertically with the lip of the flare and the front could go out another 5mm to be vertically flush. A rear combined offset of +26 with a 275 tyre is the absolute maximum without tyre protrusion past the lip of the flare. The combined offset of +10 on the front is 5mm inside the lip of the flare with a 245 tyre. Given this to me is borderline on rear poke, a rear offset of about 28/30 just keeps the tyre inside the lip. Someone mentioned 18mm spacers in the front and 15mm rear on standard 20" G01 wheels would be a pretty good choice for maximum poke without looking too radical. Shame the rear moulding doesn't have a bit more flare like the F25 M Sport body kit.

Was going to wait til I washed her but what the hell.
Wheels were inspired by gixxer
I actually ordered niche wheels first but one rim got lost in transit and 2 of the 3 I got were the wrong color/ finish.. dealt with horrible customer service so returned them rather than swapping out
20" TSW Bathurst in gloss gunmetal, I love that they match my dark graphite exterior perfectly.
Front 9x20 ET 35
Rear 10x20 ET 40
I can live with the offsets for now but I'll eventually put some spacers on, definitely for the front.

I plan on just using these tires down to the point where it's acceptable for lease end or before then and then swapping them for some higher performance tires to replace them.
That's if I'm not in an X3M before then.. wishful thinking

Very nice! Will your current setup prevent the wheels from being curbed? I intend to get the front in 8.5 with a +20 ET. What do you think?

That sounds ok, however they might stick out a tiny bit if at all but should work nonetheless!

Llarry wroteAre these negative offset or positive? I'm trying to figure out if the 18 inch rims, 9 inch wide with an offset of 40 will fit.G01 X3 and G02 X4 wheels specs...
Bolt pattern: 5 x 112. One of the problems is that BMW has used 5 x 120 for many years and is now transitioning to 5 x 112; an "experienced" wheel guy may not be up to date on this transition and get confused.
Width and offset: I know your question is about 20-inchers, but 30i model owners and those looking for 19" winter wheels may see this, so let me cover all X3 & X4 wheels. These numbers are for OE BMW wheels.
7" width offset 22mm
7.5" width offset 32mm
8" width offset 27mm
8.5" width offset 30mm
9.5" width offset 43mm
So for a 20" wheel for a M40i the stock/OE offsets are 27 front, 43 rear
