It depends on your offset. The stock wheels are 20x9 so it's possible but they might stick our a few mm.

Stock fronts are 20x8, getting 2 more inches of wheel under there will be tough.

I just ordered a set of OZ Hyper GT HLT with Michelin PS4S for my Glacier X40i.

20x9 ET25 with 245/45/20
20x10.5 ET35 with 275/40/20

Hopefully the tires don’t look stretched - gixxerboy63's user avatargixxerboy63 has the same width tires (PSS) and wheels and they look good so I think I’ll be OK. Wheels are special order from Tirerack, so I’m crossing my fingers I won’t have to wait forever.

Those are the stock tire sizes on the X3 M40i so I don't think you will have an issue. I'm running Pirelli P Zero AS+ on mine in 245/45R20 & 275/40R20 so you should be fine. No idea what the stock wheel offsets are but I'm pretty sure its 20x8.5 and 20x10 so with those offsets you shouldn't have any issues

I posted it in other threads earlier, but here is the table I put together earlier of stock sizes. I hope it can help..
Note that m sport brakes usually require 19".

7JX18 ET22 (225/60R18)

7,5JX19 ET32 (245/55R19)

8x20 ET27 (245/45R20)
9,5x20 ET43 (275/40R20)

8,5x21 ET30 (245/40R21)
9,5x21 ET43 (275/35R21)

Finally got our Alpine White / Oyster 2018 M140i! Love the X3, but got it with 19's. Good for the wife [hard to curb], bad for looks [it looks like a sleeper]. I want wheels!

gixxerboy63, could I use 20x10 et25 and 20x10.5 et32? What tire sizes would you recommend?
gixxerboy63 wrote
You can try RAD wheels in Greensboro, NC.... I worked with Dwight, one of the owners..
I went with 21x9 et25 front and 21x10.5 rear

*The back wheels fit perfectly flush, but I had to use 13mm spacers in the front to get the wheel to sit flush.

UPDATED WHEEL SPECS FOR FLUSH FITMENT:
21x9 et25 front +13mm spacers (meaning ideal fitment would be 21x9 et12)
21x10.5 et32 rear

10 up front seems to be tricky without going custom wheels. If you have M Sport's chunky calipers, getting brake and strut clearance without too much poke will be an exact science.

What Offsets would be good if wanting to go 20X9 (winters) ?

I've heard mixed things regarding clearing the front brakes - was thinking around 25-32ish offset for front and back (Square setup)

Probably a bit more offset for 9", 35-40...
Check on the wheel calculators online that compares with the stock sizes...

I couldn't find a lot of options in 20x9 ET12-15 for the front. 20x9 ET25 doesn't look half bad, though. I don't think I'll want to add spacers.

Looks good - did you go with 20 x 9 ET25 in the rears as well?

Will these fit? I'm looking into this for my winter wheel setup.
I want to go with michelin winter tires but they don't make any for the 21 inches...

Are those 20”? It may be a trick of the camera but they look very small.

It could also just be the wheel style.

When I want a wheel to appear bigger I get wheels where the "spokes" go to the outer edge of the wheel as opposed to stopping at the lip.
