I've been following you on insta for the better part of a year now and saw the progression of that X5M. Truly a work of art!
I wish you posted more videos of exhaust revs, fly-bys, etc.! Sad to see it go, but funny enough I've also been considering the X3 M40i to replace my F10.

AMTF10 wroteYes! My X5M was fun. It was probably one of the most highly modified and undoubtedly, one of the fastest X5M in existence, but it was a glamour/garage queen and an endless hole that I threw money into. I'm trying to be more reserved with the M40i, although I just ordered H&R springs and now considering a JB4. The M40i is surprisingly fast out of the box, but I can already see how this is becoming bit of a slippery slope.I've been following you on insta for the better part of a year now and saw the progression of that X5M. I've noted all the information on offsets, etc. in preparation for selecting a Winter wheel/snow tire set. I will have the 20" Performance run flats on my forthcoming M40i.
Question: when choosing the Winter tire, should i stay with the staggered tire size, matching the stock Performance run flats?

I have been running equivalent to the above on my F31 for five years. Happy with that.

gixxerboy63 wroteYou went with 21" instead of the 20" huh? I like it. The 21" fill out the well enough in my opinion to not need to be lowered. The 20" I think, though, would look good being lowered 1/2 to 1"...though no one has mentioned yet if lowering these will mess up the adaptive/M suspension at all, which is my main concern. Otherwise, I might consider keeping the 20" wheels and just lowering it.

I want to get them in 20s in Silver with the Mirror Cut Face. Can you give me the source that can size them correctly? I checked TSW website...no joy...

Bought these for a winter set. 19x8.5" front, 19x9.5" rear. Dirt cheap and not fugly. Went with Michelin Latitude Xi2s, 235 front, 255 rear. Both roughly 1.5% larger than the stock 21 setup. an
Are these going to poke a lot at 25 and 35 offset?

Does anyone know where to find information on the weight of the BMW OEM wheels? BMW doesn't include this in the wheel specs on their ordering website and I haven't been able to find this info anywhere else yet either. I'd love to know the wheel weight for the 698m 19" and the 699m 20" wheels so I can order with confidence.
I'm currently eyeing the OZ Superturismo Dakar wheels in 20x8.5 but they come in at 31.25lbs a corner. The other option I'm considering are the OZ Ultraleggera's in the same size which are some of the lightest wheels available at 24lbs. I run 18x8 Ultraleggeras on my BRZ and love them but would prefer the Superturismo style on the X3 as long as they are lighter than the OEM equivalent.
I'm also thinking about how to achieve the best wheel fitment without spacers. What do you guys think about a 20mm offset on 20x8.5 wheels? Seems like the best I can do with the options OZ has listed.

Short of Forum Members weighing the missing wheels when changing out to Winters or other set-ups, I've pretty much given up being able to find the highlighted values.

I went with 21x9 et25 front and 21x10.5 rear
*The back wheels fit perfectly flush, but I had to use 13mm spacers in the front to get the wheel to sit flush.
UPDATED WHEEL SPECS FOR FLUSH FITMENT:
21x9 et25 front +13mm spacers (meaning ideal fitment would be 21x9 et12)
21x10.5 et32 rear

Here's my current set up. I had this posted on another forum but have not shared it on here. My car came with 21" wheels with those awful Bridgestone run-flats. I swapped to factor 699M 20" wheels, powered coated them in bronze and wrapped them in Pirelli P Zero AS+ tires. While the look may not be for everyone it sure does turn heads and get a lot of compliments.
I plan on adding some aftermarket springs (H&R or AC Schnitzer) and some other small touches.

Not my cup of tea with the Bronze, but most important is that you like it. What the neighbors think doesn't matter.
I was looking at the Oz site and saw this setup on the X5, I think it will look good on a X3 as well. I might consider for a winter set up, there's a full black option as well.

I am looking for winter wheels for 2018 X3 M40I. Bolt pattern 5x112, front offset ET 30, rear wheel offset ET 43. I'm thinking there might be some compromise on the offset but I am finding very little choice so far. Anyone have info? thanks

For a dedicated winter set surely you want square (same size all round)?
