Akebono brake pads does not fit, please advise

I have a 2021 X3 xDrive 30i. It has ~54k km on it, and the CBS shows the rear brake change is due in 900km. I ordered EUR1850A (rear) and EUR1892A (front) from RockAuto. Today, when I was doing the rear brake pad job, I found out that the rear pads don't fit the caliper (the ears are a bit too long), and the included clips don't fit snugly either (I had to bend the tabs a little bit to get it installed). Did I order the wrong part? I triple checked both the Akebono website and the RockAuto website, and both sites show that they will fit. Or did RockAuto send me the wrong parts? Please advise, thanks.

For anyone who's interested in some data. My rear rotor is at 19.3mm and rear inside pad is at 3.5mm.

Looks like the correct part number for the non sport brake pads, front and rear. I was going to go with the Akebono’s but ended up getting Power Stops . That sucks when you already have everything apart and then you find out there’re wrong .

Reason why I’m asking is I recently did rotors and pads on my VW GTI MK5 . I bought the pads and rotors online. When I got into it the rear calipers were seized so had to buy new ones . I went to Advance Auto Parts and got the calipers there . Got home and they wouldn’t fit on the rotors ! To small . The company that makes the replacement parts for them shrunk down the rotor size and made the calipers to fit there rotors! Not the standard VW rotors . Had to order a different manufacturer caliper to finish the Job. Shit show .

I don't know the correct answer, but how did you choose 1850A and not 1473?

1850A includes the wear sensor. It seems like you are pointing at the right direction. FCP Euro shows that EUR1473 is for non-M brakes, and EUR1850A "Only for cars M Sport Brake (S2NHA) and M Red High Gloss Sport Brake (S3M2A)". Can anyone confirm?

I was under the impression that 1850A and 1473 both contain the same pads, but 1850A has an extra wear sensor. This seems to be wrong.

Did Akebono stopped making fronts for MSport calipers right now? I struggled to find any across different sites, either rear only or front is back ordered without a date. Ended up with Brembo P06099N and P06101N. Less initial bite than the OEM which is a good thing to make the brake more linear and stops dipping.

Are they launching a new line of products under this name? I've been buying EUR branded Akebono pads as far back as the early 2000s. However, I have a front/rear set of EBC Yellowstuff ready to be installed in my X3 with red MSport calipers as I am not satisfied with the performance while coming to a quicker stop after the initial bite. As noted by some others here, I am feeling some mid-stopping fade, even at reasonable street speeds, but if the stop is more sudden than usual, requiring a last-second much harded pedal push.

I just placed an order for EUR1473. Fingers crossed, I hope it will fit this time. The part selector shows both EUR1473 and EUR1850A will fit.

The mid-stopping fade is one of the exact reason why I'm getting rid of these stocks. Too much initial bites when just want to slow down a bit, and insufficient braking force when really pressing the paddle down to get a quick stop, while dusting like crazy.

Update - EUR1473 fits perfectly on my X3 non-M rear caliper. The initial bite feels weaker than OE, and overall feels more linear.

Wear sensor is not included in the EUR1473 kit. I picked one up from my local dealer.
