Ordered 2024 x3?

Has anyone ordered a 2024 x3? I placed my order but still have no production number or anything. Didn't want to bug my C.A. just yet so was curious if anyone has theirs in production or not yet.

Just got allocation for my 2024 X3M Comp build. Production starts August and my rep is saying it should be ready for delivery late September timeframe… give or take.

Time flies, I was on the same boat this time last year 😄 expect delivery around September if you ordered yours during May to July. I got my production week/date in early July FYI.

F12 trick is still my favorite to get the vin and production date without bugging CA too much, my recommendation is stay patient, it's coming and you will have a great time with it soon!

I put down a deposit on a X3 M40i August allocation just this week, even though the Canadian order guides aren't released yet. I expect minor changes but will finalize the build ASAP.

I placed an order for an X4 M40i on 7/7/23 was told I had an allocation for week 31. As of today the order status updated to "production begins".

What is the F12 trick regarding getting the VIN?

Ordered my X3 M40i Saturday, Tanzanite Blue w/ Cognac Sensatec. No allocation yet, so no production number. Should have the allocation in August.

Nyalpine, the 24s went up on the site today in the US. Production on the 24s doesn't start until 8/23/23. Don't expect to see one on the lot soon.

This sounds accurate, I’ve never heard of BMW starting production in July, it’s always late August. I think they close the plant so they can re tool for the next model year.

Dealers won’t have the 2024 on their lot until late Sep (if lucky) first part of October.

I don,t agree. The X5 and X6 are already 2024 models. The X3 and X4 are carryovers to the 2024 model year. The only difference on the BMW website for the 2024 X3 and X4 is the prices. Everything else is EXACTLY THE SAME. I am told by the BMW genius as well as my dealer my production will be complete on Aug 1st or second. I guess we will see in the next week or so.

That’s interesting, I wonder why they started earlier for 2024? Maybe if there are no changes to model year there is no reason to re tool and take a break?

I was in the BMW dealer in Leon GTO Mx a couple of weeks ago and they had a 2024 X4MC on their floor. I thought it was 2023 but the guy said no, that all the X3&4 are now coming is as 2024s

This is not accurate at all. It does not line up with BMW's ISO week calendar.

That is not accurate. They did not close the plant for retooling of the LCI X5/X6. They produced the the pre-LCI right up to the start of the LCI in April. And they were being delivered immediately afterwards, not weeks later.

An X3 produced mid-August is not going to take until September/October to be delivered to a dealer on the east coast, let alone one that is 10-15 miles down the road from the factory.

I didn't see the X4MC, but did see a 2024 X4 M40i for 1,793,900.00 Pesos, and with the exchange rate comes out to about $105,582.34 USD. That's insane for an X4, and is in X5 M60i price territory.

Yes, you have a VIN because your dealer had an allocation. Mine did not, so no VIN yet. The cars don't actually go into production until August, which is why I said don't expect to see them on the lots yet.

Sorry, yeah, I had one too many 23s in there. I meant 8/23. I don't know the specific date. Just what the ordering guide states.
