What wheel cleaner do you use?

We all suffer from the horrible dusting from the brake pads on the m40i. What wheel cleaner are you using? Looking for something that takes less scrubbing. So far I've tired Chemical Guys and Adams. Adams is much better but wondering if there is something better that can save me more time?

Bilt Hamber SurfexHD for regular wash, and Bilt Hamber Korossol Iron remover every few weeks.

Personally, I use quality MF mitts and MF cloths, no wheel brushes.

My wheels and callipers are ceramic coated.

Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel, my alloys are also ceramic coated. My regular detailer uses another brand.

Meguiar's Ultimate Wheel Cleaner, this stuff is amazing. Spray it on, it turns purple, hose it off and wipe the wheels with a microfiber. Dust on the Cayenne is off the charts bad, and this cleaner gets the job done.

It smells pretty bad, must mean it's good!

I use a 50/50 mixture of "Simple Green" and water in a spray bottle. Inexpensive, biodegradable, very effective, and won't damage the wheel finish.

The detailer I go to is pretty well known and they swear by Malco Complete Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

Soap, water, and micro fiber sponge and glove-sponge. It helps that mine are powder coated with high gloss finish and ceramic coated as well.

I use this too. $33 for the gallon and I apply it with a Foam Pro sprayer (amazon), which makes a thick, shaving creme type foam that sticks to the vertical surfaces on the wheel. Also, by using a foam sprayer, I can mix the Brake Buster with water and effectively get 2-3 times as much wheel cleaner out of one gallon. Works just as well when mixed with water in the sprayer.

I’ve been using Sonax Wheel Cleaner for years, always worked great for me.

I've tried many wheel cleaners and Sonax Full Effect is the best. They all need agitation but Sonax needs somewhat less than others. I buy it by the gallon.

Sonax spray here. That’s rare that I use it though with the ceramic coating. Mostly just foam soap with microfiber tire brush + microfiber cloth because of all the stupid crevices on these wheels.

Sonax Full Effect FTW. Cheaper by the gallon. Even better was getting the iSweep 1500 pads. I almost never clean my front wheels anymore. Back wheels still have stock pads, so I still use the Sonax on them

I've been using the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Wheel Cleaner. Previously I was using P&S Brake Buster but found the TW to do a better job. (Testing -- I did one wheel w/ P&S, then cleaned it again w/TW and it took off a lot more dirt. Then I did a wheel with TW first and followed w/P&S -- it did very little extra.)

PS - props to our UK posters re. Bilt Hamber products - they are just not readily available in the US.
