Parking assistant plus query.

I have parking assistant plus on my car and while playing around today rotating the picture etc I noticed that the car on the iDrive screen looks to be a 5 series saloon (a saloon anyway).

Do any of you have an X3 as the display car while looking at PA+?

If so can you post pictures so I can ask my dealer when it goes in for its service next month.

Don't have pictures currently but you should be seeing a light gray X3 and not a 5 series or any other saloon car. This should be a software issue and I suggest you take it back to your dealer to fix it...

When I collected the my car, I had a 7-series saloon showing in the iDrive. It only required a software update at the Service Center to fix the issue.

LMAO - it should definitely be a grey X3 as above.

Shame they didn't code in the colour too, that would've been a nice touch!

Totally agree! I also don't understand why couldn't they provide this in iDrive 6. I have seen few videos of iDrive 7 and it seems that that one does show the actual color of the car.

Just to update. The dealer confirmed a software update is required and is booking it in to change the vehicle in the parking display.
