2017 X3 Brake Upgrade
Hello
New to the X3 world. I picked up a low mileage 2017 X3 with the M package on it. Looks great however the brakes appear to be the normal brakes. Was there an option for the M brakes? Is a swap as easy as new calipers, rotors and pads? Is a larger brake booster or master cylinder needed? |

I'll consider the silence a no.
Any thoughts on swapping out calipers with other M vehicles? It seems odd that there was not a factory option for M brakes for the F25. Again, I just picked up this vehicle so I am learning as I go. |

Yeah, the M sport package on the F25, was for the most part, cosmetic, not performance oriented. I mean most of the M Sport models have the "Sport Suspension Delete" option, making them a true grocery getter with a load of ///M logos
People have used larger brakes from other models on their F25, search the forum. I find the stock F25 brakes more than adequate for my use and have no desire to spend money upgrading them. |

Good advice. Stock F25 brakes are quite good unless you're regularly putting your car on the track.
