Has the file size limit changed for uploading photos to the forum?

Have file upload sizes for jpeg photos changed? Photos I’ve taken on an iPhone 16 now seem to exceed the file upload limit which I’ve never had an issue with in the past. I can’t upload photos I’ve taken anymore.

I've noticed the exact same thing you are experiencing. Sometimes the "upload photo" will accept the photo, when it does not, I need to resize it and make it smaller, then it will upload. Not sure why this is happening, but it is pain.

Yeah you have to adjust the photo a bit to make it smaller size.

I found this a few months ago while I was trying to figure out why my pictures were sideways and upside down. I can't say if the size recommendations are still relevant, but since since staying under the size limits all of my pics have been oriented the right way.

Same. I wasn't sure if it was the size or something else. Most of my uploads fail now.
