23 x1 and 23 x3 CrossShop?

I am trying to get ideas today for an order for my mom.

The 28i and 30i seem to be the same engine tuned differently? Seems like a 10k spead on loaded cars too.

Anyone think it's wise to drop down if you don't need the space? But lose physical buttons

Also- where is the 2023 on x1 forum? Perhaps this isn't on the app yet?

The X1 forum is https://u11.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=944

I think your question may have been asked and many answered in this X1 thread. https://u11.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1953641

Hope that helps.

Personally I got m40i because these 6 cylinder engines will soon be a thing of the past, I had to get myself one and enjoy it so I don’t reminisce regret 10years down the line. So the X1 isn’t appealing to me but I might come around to it in the future.

I'm on the same page with the x3-i6 situation. That's what really sets the x1 and x3 apart- that power piece.

Maybe this was the right place to post- x1 forum might give me the other end of the spectrum to review- but I appreciate the i6 suggestion. Loaded a 66,000 x3 will probably depreciate more than a 44,000 x1 but this is about homage to that i6…

I looked at the X1 for my wife if we ever replaced our 19 S4 and I took over the 20 X3M she said she would just want a basic luxury SUV to drive. Personally the X1 is small, but the engine is way too small and lacking in the power department. If BMW would at least put the X2 M35i (300bhp) engine in the X1 we could maybe entertain the X1 as an option.

True. It's hard to know how the 2023 x1 drives as well. I heard it had 241hp now. But I can't get a 0-60 time.

Will it be slower than the x3 30? Maybe?

M40 of course is a brute.
