Carbon Black light scratches on rear bumper.. any good products out there?

Anyone have good experience with some products to help clear up some light scratches? My friend’s dog tried jumping into the trunk of my m40i but missed and landed on the bumper instead. Picture 7 or 8 claw marks running down the back of the bumper Yes, dog is fine!

Scratches look pretty light and not that deep. How are the Meguiar’s products (eg Ultimate Compound)? Specifically interested in experiences with Carbon Black because I know some products work better with some paints and finishes.

Thanks!

I have DG, so also a dark color, and used Ultimate Compound to remove color transfer with great success. Also used it to polish the area around handles, also great results. Not sure, how it would handle deeper scratches, as it has very fine grit.

A photo would be good for anyone trying to help you.

I have a Carbon Black. I had some water spots from a parking garage on my hood. I tried Meguiars Scratch X. Wound up doing more harm than good. Had to take it to a detailer and get it corrected. Cost $150 to get the whole hood corrected.

People better then me though could give you DIY advice. It can be done easily, but I dont have any skills in this area.

This stuff is great. I used on my wife's X1 recently as she had some minor scratches that annoyed the heck out of me.

They make a product just for water spotting. I've used it and it's worked great.
