Warranty vs extended warranty

Hi all. Looking at a 2016 x4 35i. It's got 60,000km and I'm in Canada. What was it is the factory warranty? Am I too late to
Purchase an extended warranty at this time? Thank you

factory warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles (here in US). You can inquire with your nearest bmw dealership if they can provide you with extended warranty.

I have seen here in this group with dealers providing heavily discounted extended warranties. My suggestion is to get an indy BMW technician to maintain your X4, the car is relatively new and dont feel the need for extended warranty.

PS - I have '17 x4 m40i and didnt opt for extended warranty

My issue is coming from an X1 28i. The out of pockets aren't what I'm looking to experience again. I'd rather pay up front and drop it off when it needs repairs or service

Hi,

I am considering extended warranty too. They call it Vehicle Service Contract. Please refer to attached pdf. Have you asked a dealer?
