Add Sport+ using BimmerCode?
Hi,
Does anyone know how to implement the Sport+ mode using the DEC switch with BimmerCode? It’s not a precoded function for the X3. I’ve only got eco-pro, comfort and sport. |

No. Only have sport automatic transmission. Sport+ isn’t listed anywhere.
I’ve actually emailed BimmerCode and they said it can’t be done. I thought I’d see if anyone had figured it out. www.bimmer-tech.net sells code to do it but I don’t want to pay $150 just to code Sport+. ($99 plus $49 for adapter). Last edited by spelk3; 07-11-2021 at 01:03 PM.. |

No. I’m assuming this is done with the expert mode in BimmerCode? Are there easy to find instructions anywhere?
I do have Sport Automatic Transmission set to active using BimmerCode. BimmerCode told me it was not possible to add Sport+ even coding using expert mode. Last edited by spelk3; 07-11-2021 at 07:54 PM.. |

Sorry, wasn't aware of it's limitations, I don't use bimmercode for coding. Use e-sys instead

Got Sport+ working.
Coding with esys messed up some of the other coding I had done with BimmerCode. So I had to recode them. Also set off brake ABS warning after coding but that seems to have gone away. BimmerCode is much easier to use than esys but can’t do as much. |

Anytime you change the VO and code the applicable modules, you loose any custom coding for those modules since it writes the defaults to them. Now if you make a backup of the \data\CAF\CAFD*.ncd files you'll be able to able to restore any coding you have done. If you load the "FDL Cheat Codes" in launcher, you get a bunch of custom coding options to select from. |
