Hey all, just picked up a new daily driver to let me put my 135i in the garage to work on slowly.
I’m new to the platform and want to know what typical maintenance stuff to expect around 90,0000 miles to be preventative. |

If you don’t have any paperwork on the maintenance, you should change out the transmission fluid/filter, transfer case and front and rear diff fluids. Also consider changing out the serpentine belt and plugs. All relatively simple DIY.

I did coolant flush day 1 and then took it to my local BMW for oil change and they said everything looked great. I was concerned being new to the platform and also going through a buy here pay here lot. From most of my reads, it sounds like an overall pretty reliable engine.
