New MAD Product Release -Plug & Play Exhaust Valve Controller
MAD BMW SUPRA MINI PLUG & PLAY EXHAUST VALVE CONTROLLER Enhance your vehicle's exhaust system with the MAD Valve Controller, the ultimate tool for customizing your exhaust sound and performance. Designed to override factory settings, this controller gives you complete control over your exhaust flap, allowing you to tailor the exhaust note to match your driving style. Unlike stock systems that adjust the exhaust flap based on driving modes and conditions—often prioritizing noise regulation—the MAD Valve Controller lets you choose between a fully open or 50% exhaust mode. You can easily switch back to factory settings with a single click, offering unparalleled flexibility for your driving experience. Built for durability and ease of use, the MAD Valve Controller is IP68 waterproof, making it safe for mounting in the trunk or underneath the vehicle. Its military-grade wire harness is equipped with a fireproof sheath, ensuring safety and reliability. The controller also features a memory function that retains your preferred settings, even after restarting the vehicle. The package includes two high-quality remotes for convenient control, and for added ease, you can integrate the controller with your vehicle’s HomeLink buttons. Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design that connects directly to the excision harness. For vehicles with a single exhaust valve, a dummy plug is provided to deactivate the extra valve wire harness connector. I just had my VS2 valve controller go out on me and I'm looking for a replacement. What is the warranty on this and are there installation guides available for review?

1 year warranty on this product. Installation Process: Ignition Off: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is switched off before starting any work. Locate Valve Actuator: Identify the valve actuator on the left-hand side near the exhaust system. For some models, the actuator may be positioned behind the rear silencer. Unplug the actuator's electrical connector. Clean the connector if necessary to ensure a dry environment. Remove Access Barriers: Depending on your vehicle model, you may need to remove screws or fasteners on the rear bumper to gain better access to the actuator. Ensure proper clearance. Control Unit Placement: Install the control unit in a safe location. If possible, place it inside the trunk (e.g., under the trunk floor mat next to the battery) or outside under the vehicle body, ensuring it is protected from excessive heat or water exposure. Route the necessary cables through the floor pan by removing a rubber stopper and resealing after installation. Vehicles with 1 Actuator Connect Wiring Step 1: Pull back the plug’s release mechanism slightly. Step 2: Disconnect the drivers side plug from the actuator and connect it to the Mad Valve controller. Step 3: Pull the controller’s electric cable up to the valve actuator and, if needed, hide the cable under the heat shield. Step 4: Secure the controller's plugs to one or both actuators until it clicks into place. Lock it in position by sliding the gray lock. Step 5: Connect the dummy plug into the extra harness plug coming off the controller. Cable Management: Secure the cables to the vehicle’s wiring harness using cable ties. Ensure there is enough room for movement around the actuator so that the wiring is not under tension. Test the System: Turn on the ignition and test the functionality of the Mad Valve Controller. Make sure all connections are secure, and the valve operates smoothly before reassembling any removed parts of the bumper. Vehicles with 2 Actuator’s Step 1: Pull back the plug’s release mechanism slightly. Step 2: Disconnect the drivers side plug from the actuator and connect it to the Mad Valve controller. Step 3: Pull the controller’s female connector up to the valve actuator and, if needed, hide the cable under the heat shield. Step 4: Secure the controller's plugs to one or both actuators until it clicks into place. Lock it in position by sliding the gray lock. Step 5: Connect dummy plug into the passenger side vehicle plug. Remote Control Functions: Top Button (Red): Fully opens the exhaust valves for a 100% unrestricted flow and maximum sound. Middle Button: Opens the exhaust valves to 50%, offering a controlled and refined exhaust sound, reducing drone or rasp. Bottom Button: Activates the OEM mode, restoring the factory exhaust settings for balanced performance and noise regulation. Memory Mode: Always active, ensuring the system retains your last selected mode, even after the vehicle has been turned off and restarted.
