2024 turning off fake sound in cabin
Hi guys, Done this prior on older M cars but with a Vgate dongle and bimmercode app. But doing some research it seems a little harder on these newer face lift x3m's. Can anyone point to me in the right direction to turn this off?

In bimmercode, go to the RAM module, hit expert mode then go to 3001 AUDIO UND ASD.
Set all ASD options to disable ASD_INSIDE ASD_OUTSIDE ASD_PLUS_STARTUP ASD_PLUS_BURBLING ASD_PLUS_DOWNSHIFT ASD_PLUS_EFFECTS ASD_PLUS_EZA_UPSHIFT Saw this in another thread on mobile and screenshotted, cant find the thread for the life of me now so just copied text from screenshot and sent here. Good luck man, did it on mine and worked fine. |

I have an iPhone and used the Vgate dongle and Bimmercode app to code off Active Sound Design in my wife's 2024 F97. You want to code off ASD to eliminate the exhsust sounds pumped through the speakers. I found the first post in this thread to be the ticket: https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1987606. It does not require that you go in Expert Mode.
Good luck.
