FTP Charpe pipe and Boost pipe install

Currently working on installing a FTP charge pipe and boost pipe on my 2016 n55 x3. On the charge pipe there are several holes for methanol injection two which have bolt like blockers and one which has an open metal tube or a bolt like plug. The instructions say to use the open ended metal tube for automatic vehicles and the bolt plug for manuals. Is this correct? it seemed a little weird to me that the charge pipe would have an opening in the system.

It’s for the vacuum line - it plugs in there on automatic vehicles. You should see the vacuum line on your existing plastic pipe…
