BMW G31 Touring Air suspension replacement problem

Hi there, The Air suspension on my BMW 530d Touring started to act funny, so I visited my local dealer and he said that the Air Struts have leaks and should be replaced. The cost of parts and labor is about 1700 USD. I'm not a huge fan of the air suspension, so the question is can the Air suspension on G31 can be replaced with a regular suspension from G30 or some aftermarket manufacturer? The dealer said no, but obviously, he can't say yes to any aftermarket parts or not OEM parts.

Before going to a regular suspension, I have two suggestions:

Take a look at Arnott's. I have a set on the rear of my Infiniti SUV. They were way cheaper than OEM and actually perform much better. A direct bolt on replacement, including the connection to my stock air pump.

I recently received a spam message from Bilstein. Apparently they now have a B4 that includes an air bladder. My guess is they are going after BMW touring and SAV models that have air adjustable suspensions.

I'm sure the dealer can sub out parts, but two issues come to mind why they will not. One, the parts are not specifically designed for that application and it will require specific coding to turn off the suspension warnings, which they are not able to do, but a custom coder could.

Thanks for the advice, but to be honest I'm looking for a more sporty feel, not a comfort, I know that sounds funny for a car like that, but it is what it is for now, until I buy M2 or M3.
