I was thinking - they are trying to buy more time to coincide with July/August 2020 year changeover and get the new tech installed.
But it looks like the x3 M is going to be behind the regular x3 in technology - go figure.
And why June 17? also no 2020 x3 price guide either. (all other models are out)

No, the cars built in April/May were for car shows and demo models, those had the M Seat Belts. There were no customer cars built in those months. Because of the belt shortage, my order sat without a production date until the belts were removed and then it processed through the system and got a July production date. Any cars being made between now and maybe Aug/Sep will not get the M belts.

No M belts on an M car. That's scandalous.
That would bug me every time I drove it.
