Alot of people on Rennlist have done the same. Now I'm 993 + M5 and this could be the sweet spot
991 was an enormously competent car and the 992 looks like it's even more so. But they drive like BMWs, IMO. Nothing wrong with that, but they have a more touring feel. They are physically huge cars and they've also lost a bit of that raw edge, which is partly why alot people gravitate to the GT3/4 models. The 992 is also getting ridiculously expensive. A built out Carrera S is approaching 991 Turbo prices.

I've been moving around and up for years. I had a 996 about 12 years ago, decent car but it was like driving my Volvo, then did a Factory 5 Cobra for shits and giggles and then the Z4MC. I loved that car but had always wanted a 993, when I came across this one I had to pull the trigger. I sometimes miss the BMW, it was such a cool car. But you have to love the 993.
