Left rearview mirror problem
Hello, a few days ago I noticed my left rearview mirror heater isn't working. I immediately connected the car to the diagnostics and got the following DTC:
800FB6/Outside-mirror heater, left, faulty
I removed mirror glass to check if maybe connector is loose, but everything was good.
After everything is returned properly, I noticed that auto-dimming on that mirror doesn't work also. I figured out that it starts working if I adjust the mirror glass from inside joystick anywhere, even for a bit. Then it works for some time, after which it stops again, so I move the glass again to get the dimming back...
That is strange, it makes me wonder if the glass itself is faulty or there is some other problem (I was ready to order a new glass, to fix heater problem, but now I am unsure if that is smart)...
Any ideas?
