I have MHD,

I had JB4 (piggyback) then had plans to go BM3 (Bootmod3) flash tune. Was ready to pull the DME. Then joined MHD beta as it didn’t require bench flash. I’d recommend either flash tune and not the piggy backs.

The intercooler keeps IAT (intake air temp) down with any tune you increase boost= more heat. You retain any power that maybe lost from high IAT’s.

DP jb4 no longer autoclears and CEL. Adding DP frees up restriction and works with tune yes.

Bootmod3 or MHD will take advantage of the hardware especially with a custom flash tune.

Same with if one gets DP's too.

With my old Cobb tune for my 335, you'd pick the Stage 1 tune if you had no extra hardware, stage 1+ with a FMIC or 2 with DP's, and 2+ with both.

With a piggyback tune like JB+ or Racechip, I don't think you can do any of that, other than just upping boost (see Racechip manual below), and I don't think either one can automatically adjust for hardware?

What about the JB Stage 1 or JB4?

I don't want to add hardware if the tune can't fully take advantage of it.
