Mine first started with the windshield wipers coming on when I tried to start the car. What cured it was removing the negative wire from the battery for a few minutes (then re-hooking) and then everything was fine for a few days. It got progressively worse until it would no longer stay running. With this I also got the electric steering not working and another time I couldn't shut the alarm off. It was completely "haunted"
