Secondary CAT's themselves are not touched. Our product line will never modify/remove a CAT as the goal is to retain legal compliance (emissions included). We do require the removal of a bracket that is attached to one of the secondary cats as the new pipe needs to extend past it in order to get to a spot in the pipe (2" past the weld) that is actually round and straight for a long enough section that can be clamped without leaks. BMW absolutely loves to hydroform their pipes now and nearly all of the pipe in that section are this way which makes cut points very specific and limited in location.
