I think I need to become an electrician!

I didn't check the details on the charger itself, so I'm only going by what it said on Zap Map. However, the details may have been wrong. It listed 2 chargers as Tesla only chargers but there were actually 3 as one was for non-Tesla cars. Next time I'm going to check more carefully.

The Type 2 to Type 2 cable that was supplied with my car is actually a 3 phase, 22kw cable. It states that it is 32amps and 480v. It's this one: https://esl-emobility.com/en/bmw-614...phase-5-m.html





I actually don't like it as it's too heavy!
Assuming that this cable would support 11kw charging then it does sound like either the charger was limited or the information on Zap Map was just wrong.
