I've visited BMW USA and configured some cars, you guys are right the packages layout is frustrating, however BMW Canada is different the cars cost a little more but the packages are well built and comprehensive, i.e. the X4 M40 comes well loaded all I took is premium package enhanced and drivers assistant plus and I pretty much have a fully loaded X4, the X3 has a package called "Ultimate" which is pretty much every option available.
