For NBT....The X3
1. You obtain your FSC Code.
2. You download the appropriate zipped up map into your download directory on your Hard Drive.
3. Using the appropriate utility extract the map into a temporary location directory on your Hard Drive.
4. Copy the contents of the extracted directory onto a 32gb USB II formatted to FAT32. Ensure the files and the complete structure are copied to the root of the USB.
5. With Ignition on ( I go for a 40 minute drive), insert the USB drive into the USB slot in your cars centre console USB slot.
6. The car recognises that there is a Map update in there and asks you to enter the FSC code you have already obtained at Para 1.
7. At the end of the procedure, the SatNav reboots and as we say "Bob is your Uncle". The procedure is complete.
