The VIN itself does not provide what options are on the vehicle. It does provide where and when your BMW was made, the type of engine it has, the model or series of the car. It also provide the its production sequence (Serial Number) of the car which when use against the Data Base of the Build Sheet which list all the standard and option for the given car.
