Looks like the months-long wait for spare parts is widespread across many BMW vehicles. One of the reasons why I will NOT buy BMW ever again.

TWO months to deliver a spare part to the repair shop compared to the advertised 7-10 business days, and more than
THREE months later, the repair shop is
STILL waiting for backordered parts. Worthless junk BMW — what is the point? Useless.
