One thing to consider is the service and maintenance coverage. As of last year (IIRC), BMW does not include service to owners beyond the original owner. If the car has not been registered to a previous owner, the car has maintenance coverage (oil changes etc). If it has been registered to a previous owner, then there may not be service coverage on the vehicle. Some dealerships offer cars for sale or lease as executive demos or BMW executive cars. These cars are eligible for new car lease rates or new car financing because they have not been previously registered to an "owner". Same would apply to the service included with the vehicle.
