The coilovers are the best investment i've made on my x3. Never looked back, never had any regrets. The car become a different car, it now takes corners like any german car should. As for lowering springs... I never considered them. Id rather spend 1800 on coilovers and be happy with them than spend 500 on springs and later find that you were expecting more and end up spend more money on coils.
