Last November I saw this recall notice for my 2016 X3d (
https://www.consumerreports.org/car-...for-fire-risk/). I got the official BMW letter in December 2018, but since then there's been radio silence from BMW corporate. I spoke to their recall center today and was told they still don't know when the fix will be available. Has anyone made headway in getting a repair date, buy back or favorable trade-in? The recall notice says there's a risk of fire. Anyone remember the flaming Pintos? The situation is frustrating as BMW holds all the cards but we own the vehicles which are now tainted in the resale market. Any class actions pending?
