I wonder what changed between April and August... or is the bulletin maybe wrong and its for ALL X3M/X4M...
Having suffered connecting rod bearing failure in another vehicle (e92 M3)... I am not interested in going through that again... even if on warranty.
I really hope the retrofit of parts required doesn't leave the engine running like some second hand motor.
Every time I've had major work done on a new engine it sounded and felt a little different and clunkier after
Nothing as good as original factory work.
