Both are performance SUVs of almost identical size. Outside of the obvious powertrain differences, I don't see how it is a stretch to compare the two. Not to sound crass
The Tesla is a mid range SUV loaded with tech but not much luxury. On paper the numbers are impressive but I wouldn't even begin to characterize it as a "performance" SUV, I guess the Performance model scratches the surface. The X3M interior is a Bentley compared to the Tesla and features raw and visceral power. The X3M encourages you to throw it into a corner while the Tesla...doesn't.

Again I think the Model Y stands on its own merits but to compare it to the X3M is a bit odd.
