The BMW Longlife-14FE+ SAE 0W-20 oil (I hear) is not fully synthetic, but a semi-synthetic blend. Can someone definitively verify that for me? I have seen several sources that confirm it's a blend, but then I also see things like this:

In any case... I am interested in running fully synthetic oil. What do you recomend? Liqui Moly? Pennzoil? Fuchs? Castrol? Motul? Amsoil?

Also, is the Mann HU 6022 Z oil filter just an OEM replacement, or are they the actual supplier that is making the exact same BMW branded filters FOR BMW?
