Also interesting the F80 M3 CS never got the love it deserved in general. The M2CS is an awesome car but it's small. The M5CS is awesome car but it's big. The M3 CS fills the sweet spot right in the middle.

Same sentiments here. The F8x CS and even the M4 GTS sort of went under the radar in comparison to the attention the new CS versions are getting.
Personally, I am jealous as the CS variant always ends up in such lists and overshadows majority of poor guys (like me) who bought the pure or comp version of the same car at 75% of the price and >80% of the performance / driving.
