Great post, I was wondering the same thing. Pre-LCI X3M was always praised for its handling but ride was rated as too firm for daily driving by many reviewers. I am toying with the idea of a G80 base but living in CO with a wife who cannot drive stick, I am also considering the X3M. Since the competition model comes with the 21s, I was thinking the base X3M with the 20 inch wheels might be a little softer thus more comfortable as a daily. LCI owners (especially base X3M) please chime in...
