Scratch on leather seat

My coworker place a cardboard box on the back seat of my 2012 X3. I think the corner of the box scratched the black leather of my car seat because the scratch was definitely not there before (no one has ever sat in the back seat of my car). The scratch is about an inch to an inch and a half in length. I think it's a superficial cut but I'm afraid it will eventually cause the leather to rip.

1) Should I be concerned?
2) Does anyone know if the BMW dealership deals with seat scratches or should I just see a leather specialist?
3) Will the scratch eventually turn into a rip?
4) Am I just crazy and leave it alone?

I'm trying to not let it bother me but it's kind of driving me crazy. Thanks!
