Just because automakers want to PUSH a product does not mean it's going to sell or sell well.

Time will tell. I have a suspicion it's gonna be a hard sell for automakers in the old USofA.

People here want big monster Trucks, SUVs, cars with a Real range for road trips.
The millenials are coming up next to be the biggest customers for cars. A lot already prefer to carpool, ride a bike, rideshare, & when & if they do purchase automobiles, it's more heavily considered than it is from the previous generation
Millennials are scared of driving and would rather have mommy give them a ride to the local GameStop
That's funny my nephew wanted a gaming console instead of a drivers license
