Thanks for the update, OB1. Interesting that a newly-delivered M40i also has this vibration. Was this a 2019 model?
Also, are you in Northern VA? I bought my BMW from Alexandria but live in MD. I was thinking of bringing this issue up during my first service appointment at a MD dealer, but if your service center is already aware of this issue, it's probably better to deal with them.
