I had mine for a week and the same thing happened. I was able to buff out the horizontal scratches but the vertical were a little to deep. You would never really know it was damaged. I work with paint so I see everything.The BMW Certified Collision center replaced the bumper because BMW doesn't allow the bumper to be resprayed. It was around $2000.
