My 2011 had the same problem, outside of warranty. After reading the threads on here I decided to order a new door online and replaced it myself. Or you could try gluing it yourself, whatever you feel comfortable with. I didnt think it was worth the fight with the dealer...but if you can get them to fix it free, great!

Can you help me with this install of the new glovebox door? I have the same issue with my 2012 X3 and the new replacement door arrived today. But I can’t find anywhere on google on how to just replace the door or even get the door out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
