Yes! Mine does this! Initially I thought it was supposed to be like that. But on further thought, it does seem a bit odd to have to fight with the sliding cover on a "luxury" car. You'd expect that operation to be smooth. Oh well - maybe it's a design fault...

Here's a stupid question: Is it possible to turn down the volume of the parking sensor beeps?

I've tried adjusting the volume while the beeping is happening, but it makes no difference. Reason being, I live in a pretty quiet cul-de-sac. When I get home from the gym at night (as I've just done 30 mins ago) the sound from the parking sensors as I park the car is super, super loud. I'm sure people can hear it from across the way.

Would just like to park a little more discretely at night
