Oh dear, hope all people are uninjured. Being red color, the other driver should have seen you, & as you stated perhaps hit the wrong pedal.
Wow it took so long to order. Assuming you get a new one, maybe order some options missed on current car. 8th/Speed limit info. Personally I think the price difference between the 28i and 25i is reasonable. Take care.
