I have been following this post to understand what FMIC would fit my 2013 X3 msport n55 engine. My local shop just fitted the Pheonix FMIC from BMS along with the F25 specific FTP charge pipe and boost pipes.
As well as the FMIC needing custom mounts and sitting a little lower the driver side 3 inch silicon coupling that came with the FTP pipes needed to be upgraded to a 6 inch coupling due to the extra distance to the lower FMIC.
So far so good. The torque seems to come in earlier and I no longer have that flat spot around 2700 rpm or that droning exhaust noise from the high flow muffler.
