I had a guy compliment me at a drive thru window this past weekend " NICE WHIP " while in my X1 M sport....
I drove off thinking.. what if I had been in an X3M... then realized... heck.. how many lay people really even can tell the difference between an E84 X1 and an X3M

The X3M I believe is roughly 600-800 lbs heavier than my E84 X1 M sport which is RWD only. The AWD E84 Xdrive was tested at 3822 curb weight and I am seeing 4300 plus for the X3M.
Do I need AWD ? no.. I specifically bought Sdrive28 because I don't.
Do I need 21" wheels - no.. not with 265s on them....
Do I need to do zero to 60 in 4.1 seconds (vs 6.1 now) in an SAV?
..not really.

true story. The X3 M comp in BSM with the gold two tone seats is so Badassssssssss....
